The STORM 250 has landed and is by far the toughest ATV on the market in its category. Specially designed to not just handle, but master the Australian farming industry as well as recreational and professional hunting and prospecting. We have spared no expense in the production of this big boy with a list of componentry that meets or exceeds the specifications of many high end bikes.
The pulling power of the all new ZONGSHEN DOHV engine is phenominal. It was originally built for competition racing overseas but we have made minor adjustments to the gear ratio's and it's now right at home as the heart of the STORM 250. Fuelled by a 30mm Japanese carburettor and longrange 15L heavy gauge fuel tank, there will be no need for strapping on a jerry can. This will leave you extra room on the heavy duty front and rear racks which are load rated at 100Kg each!
Independent coil-over-strut front suspension is super tough and extremely controlled and comfortable. Adjustable toe-in and toe-out ensures you will get maximum life out of your tyres as well as superior turn-in and straight line stability. The rear swingarm is constructed of reinforced box steel and the enourmous rear axle is housed in a heavy duty alloy carrier with heavy duty sealed dustproof bearings on each side to hold it steady. Traction is controlled by a super heavy duty adjustable monoshock and 19x11x10 inch all terrain tyres.
The severe duty #530 chain drive is sure to keep it all turning for many many years to come. Heavy duty scratch resistant black powdercoating protects the frame, racks, steering and suspension components while the stainless steel bolts and locking nuts keep it all together. A heavy duty towbar with 50mm universal towball will allow you to tow any trailer fitted with the universally standard sized 50mm coupling. You can to anything from your 6x4 rubbish trailer to a tandem car trailer!
